Italy's influence on culture, art and religion during the Fifteenth and Sixteenth Century.

During the Fifteenth and Sixteenth-Century Italy style and artistic expression was taking the world by storm causing drastic changes to culture, life, art, and literature within the Netherlands, France and Germany region during this time period.

The New Humanism Ideology and philosophy gained much power swiftly, in Northern Europe allowing the society to believe in a more conservative approach when dealing with religion by offering an untraditional religious ideology, but still carried many of the same traditions such as placing the Father as the Legal Dominant one.

During the fourteenth century, many of the Paintings that were coming out of the region of Italy were considered to be known as a dark and gothic time for paintings.  Main changes occurred between the turn of the century due to German artists traveling into Italy to study, and observe the past techniques and artists which allowed them to come up with an entirely new revitalization of art and how imagines are now known to be displayed.

Raphael, Madonna of the Meadow (1508)

Artist: Raphael

Date: 1508

Place: Florence

For the exceptional painting of the “Madonna of the Meadow” by: Raphael (1508),  I was truly inspired and impressed at the display of pyramidal configuration which ables him to create a balance between space that was unseen.
The meaning behind the painting was to show a warm, loving, protective but playful portrayal of Baby Jesus playing with Saint John, while being over looked and protected by his mother.

The painting was created in Florence, where it is known to be the trademark of Raphael’s work, due to its human divine quality.

"Interest in Early Renaissance"

While in the course of studying the Early Renaissance I came across some interesting historical facts and issues that were completely new to me in regard to the Islam Region.

Through many of this semesters course videos, I learned that the Islam, Muslims Religion weren’t the only Religion that truly believed in only one all mighty God, and that you should be one hundred percent submissive to Him. I also learned another interesting fact in which the main focus of the Islam Religion was to return God's people, back to the true and only One God in which they came. The only relieved that we all shared one all mighty and powerful God. The Book Quran is known as the written record, due to its value from being received as the actual word of god.
